Windows: Open Control Panels from the Start menu. Select "Display". Select "Settings". Change color depth to 16-bit (High) color or better.

Macintosh: Open Control Panels from the Apple menu. Open "Monitors and Sound" control panel. Set color depth to "Thousands" or "Millions".
