Education: Assembly and Classroom Programs
San
Diego Zoo assemblies
Assemblies are 45–50 minutes long and are performed at the
school site. The maximum group size per assembly
is 300 students and adults. Each interactive assembly
program includes an animal from the San Diego Zoo,
resource materials, and student coupons for a free
Zoo visit (when accompanied by an adult). Assembly
programs are available to schools in San Diego County
only. Reservations are required—call 619-557-3962 or 557-3963.
Note:
Zoo assembly programs are also available in the
Zoo's Otto Center auditorium; maximum group size
is 200. Call 619-557-3963 for details.

Wild Animal Park classroom programs—Coming soon! Check back in November for 2008/2009 offerings.
These programs are 45–60 minutes long and can be held at the school site or in the Wild Animal Park's classroom. Each program features fun activities and up-close encounters with three animals. The maximum group size is 24 preschool or 40 K–12 students per program. To sign up for a classroom program call 760-738-5057.
