Calendar: 3rd Annual Walk on the Wild Side™ 5K Walk

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  This year's 3rd annual event focused on raising funds for the 2008 Year of the Frog campaign.  San Diegans of all ages came together to support the conservation effort for amphibian extinction.  Walkers enjoyed festive entertainment, many of the Zoo's animal ambassadors, and a show by our conservation ambassador, Joan Embery.

The 2008 Walk on the Wild Side raised more than $50,000 for frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and caecilians.  The San Diego Zoo is committed to ensuring the survival of all amphibian species and plays an active role in amphibian conservation.  Thank you for supporting our critical efforts to prevent extinction.  Together we can make a difference.
