Rendezvous with Reptiles
If it slinks, slithers, or lives in a shell, chances are you’ll see it during the Rendezvous with Reptiles tour. It’s the perfect chance to shed misconceptions about these widely misunderstood animals—and discover some creatures you may never have known existed! You’ll be part of a small, intimate group (maximum 7) that will tour the Zoo in a VIP cart and will have the opportunity to meet some of the Zoo’s coolest reptiles and their keepers.
We have a variety of reptile revelry planned just for you during this two-hour tour! Watch a feeding with one of our large reptiles, spend private time with some of the oldest residents of the Zoo—our Galápagos tortoises—in their newly renovated exhibit, and enjoy unforgettable encounters with some of our unique and beautiful snakes and lizards. The tour includes a behind-the-scenes look at the Zoo’s historic Reptile House, where you’ll learn how we care for our amazing collection of pythons, cobras, boas, rattlesnakes, snapping turtles, and the impressive Komodo dragon!
